About Me
Before I start anything I want to take a moment to pray: Papa, thank you so much for your all consuming love and the blessings that you have given us. You Lord are the author and perfecter of our faith. I am truly blessed to have the support that you have given me and I pray that you would bless those who will be reading this blog. I pray that you would help us to remember that your ways are better than our own, that your will would be done in our lives. You are all powerful and omnipresent. Please bless this trip, challenge myself and my team to draw near to you and to rely on you whole heartedly. You are good and you are enough! In your Son’s Holy and precious name, Amen!
Hi all I’m excited that you have decided to join me on this adventure. It’ll be a learning and growing process for myself and I hope for you as well. I’m glad you have decided to join and be apart of my joys, laughter, and love that I will be experiencing. As well the struggles, worries, and hardships that we all tend to face. I’m going to be real and raw, open and vulnerable with you all as this journey continues.
Let me share with you a little bit about myself, I grew up in Colorado, in a home with my mom and dad, three brothers, and a little sister; I guess one could put it that my life is never dull. I’m truly thankful and grateful for the unique and crazy family that God placed me in. They bring out the best and sometimes worst in me but, that is how we learn. But, I don’t know what I would do without them! I love being active and in the outdoors; hiking, running, volleyball, basketball, cloud watching, star gazing, running through a field of wildflowers! Truly anything that allows me to be outdoors and have an adventure sounds great to me!
I love being creative, especially with a camera in my hand. Although the Lord is working on showing me other passions I have within the creative arts, such as guitar, painting, and calligraphy. He has been showing me how I can take them and give them to others, to bless those around me with His creative outlet.
Papa has been taking me on a wild and crazy journey for the past three years of my life. It all started when I said “yes” to doing the World Race in 2013 and was continued through Center for Global Action, to Squad Leading, to present day where I am working with AIM in the Beauty for Ashes department. It get’s me excited to see what God has in the day-to-day process. It’s hard sometimes, but He is still so good in the midst of it all!
“For this very reason, make every effort to add to you faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” -2 Peter 1:5-8
Again, I would like to thank you for joining me on this journey and I hope you are as excited as I am to see all the work that God will be doing in my own life and those I get to work alongside. I want to ask that you would be willing to pray everyday for us that we would become a community of fellow believers who go out into the world with boldness. That we would be disciples who make disciples, who make disciples, who make disciples. To be a light in the dark, to spread the good news and to show, share, and spread God’s love.
